Payment Policies

  • In order to ensure the quality of events offered, all payments are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable.

  • In the case of a returned check or insufficient funds, NJFAB will charge a fee of $25.00.

  • There are no deductions, refunds, or credits for missed events.

  • Cancellation of participation in any and all events must be received via email communication no later than 2 weeks from the event date. If communication is not received within the time period, no refunds are allowed.

Event Policies

  • Dancers and guardians should always be aware of the integrity and standard by which NJFAB operates. We strongly discourage the use of foul language and behavior on the premises. All students, parents, and visitors should be respectful to one another and help to create a positive environment.

  • Dancers should arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of his or her event. Dancers who are late must respectfully and quietly wait for permission in order to join the event.

  • NJFAB is not responsible for any lost or stolen items, however if an item is found it will be placed in a Lost and Found section or at the front desk for safe keeping.

  • Gum, mobile devices, food, and beverages will not be allowed in the studios at any time. Closed water bottles are permitted.

  • Students must wear appropriate dance attire suitable for their event. Class events will require proper form fitting attire for placement and alignment. Hair must be worn neatly and secured away from the face.

  • Dancers and guardians may be suspended from events or asked to leave the facility if they do not abide by the rules and/or display disrespectful behavior that jeopardizes the positive environment or other clientele.

  • Individuals responsible for dancers are advised to provide medical insurance for the dancer or participant. In the case of emergencies where responsible parties/emergency contacts are not available, NJFAB will seek out medical treatment and/or render medical aid when appropriate. A first aid kit will be available for any individuals on the premises. Dancers are advised to carry any prescribed medicine or medical devices that they may need during an emergency at all times.

  • Individuals agree to be subscribed to the NJFAB newsletter and to receive emails from NJFAB.

 

Waivers

  • You understand that the New Jersey Foundation of Artistry and Ballet is not responsible for any person or dancer who may be injured during class, events or while on NJFAB premises and fully accept to participate in the New Jersey Foundation of Artistry and Ballet classes, events, instruction, and/ or activities held at 4 Tennis Court Hamilton, NJ. You understand the risk involved and the nature of dance movement and physical activity and that participation is at the own risk of the dancer and their guardians and waive all claims of action against the New Jersey Foundation of Artistry and Ballet and its associates, representatives, guests and instructors.

  • Any dancer enrolled or participating in any activity at New Jersey Foundation of Artistry and Ballet  acknowledges they are in good physical condition and are able to perform activities within the enrolled class or event. Any medical conditions must be made known prior to the start of any and all events, classes, and activities and are at the dancer’s and their guardians’ own risk.

  • The Party or individual responsible for the dancer participating events and activities is advised to provide medical insurance for the dancer or participant and will not hold New Jersey Foundation of Artistry and Ballet and its agents, guests, or employees liable in the event of any accident, injury, or claim. In case of an emergency, and the emergency contact is not reachable, You give permission to the staff to obtain emergency medical treatment or render aid, when appropriate, for any injury that may occur while attending events at New Jersey Foundation of Artistry and Ballet or any related activities at 4 Tennis Court Hamilton, NJ.

  • Additionally, you grant permission for the use of any photos or videos to New Jersey Foundation of Artistry and Ballet for promotional use.

NJFAB Mission and Goal

New Jersey Foundation of Artistry and Ballet (NJFAB) strives to offer your dancer an immersive opportunity to learn from professional ballet dancers that emphasize pure classical technique. This experience is enhanced by invaluable opportunities to perform in professional quality productions each year to showcase their skills, compete in prestigious international competitions, as well as participate in educational opportunities. Our goal is to provide the highest quality ballet training to every student because we believe they all deserve the best instruction possible, regardless of their interest in professional dance or socio-economic background. Through the artistry of dance, NJFAB instills confidence, passion and dedication in each of its members for lasting value throughout their lives.

It is an expectation that all staff members provide an environment where students and parents feel comfortable and confident expressing any needs or concerns and trust said staff member with their safety and success.

It is an expectation that all staff members show respect to all students and foster an environment where that respect is mirrored.

3. Empathy & Understanding

It is an expectation that all staff members take the time and effort to understand their students and the stressors they experience. With this, the staff members provide the necessary support whenever needed.

It is an expectation that all staff members provide inspiration for their students. They must serve as positive role models for the growing minds of our students.
